Tiffany Pennamon (she/they) is a Black queer Womanist committed to liberation for all people and the Earth. She is a family member, friend, writer, visual artist, archivist, global citizen, and award-winning teacher. Her research and teaching interests include African American and African Diasporic literature and art, Womanist Thought, and Cultural Studies. In the classroom, she strives to create a discussion-oriented space for students to learn, or unlearn, in ways that enhance their understanding of and responsibility to the world around them. Her work has appeared in Callaloo, Black PerspectivesWorld Wildlife MagazineThe ConversationDiverse: Issues in Higher Education, and Women In Higher Education, among other publications. She is a southerner at heart.
